Award Guidelines

Abstracts will be considered for the following awards:

Young Investigator Award
The award recognizes top young researchers who are a medical or graduate student, postdoctoral fellow, or resident involved in the field of wound healing. Young Investigators should indicate on their abstract submission that they wish to be considered for this award. Individuals chosen for consideration will present their podium abstract during the Young Investigator Session. The award winners will be selected by a panel of judges. Winners will receive a travel award and upon submission of their manuscript to the Wound Repair & Regeneration Journal, the official journal of the Wound Healing Society, the remaining balance of the award.

Blue Ribbon Industrial R&D Award
Awards for the best product oriented research will be given to outstanding research and development scientists within the corporate community who present a poster during a special Blue Ribbon poster session. Research and development scientists within industry should indicate on their abstract submission that they wish to be considered for this award.
